E te whanau Pihawai – Weset, ngā morehu, ngā mokopuna o Roka Te Hakamatua Johnson nee Pihawai West, me Iri Te Amokura Pihawai Lousich Feary nee Pihawai West! People who are registered owners in Block#8, Arahura Pā Road, Arahura, R.D HOKITIKA are invited to a meeting of owners to be held in August at Arahura Pa to discuss the application to the Maori Land Court (Te Waipounamu District) for a combined partition of the interests of Mrs Iri May Barber nee Johnson, and Mrs Muriel Iri Harrison nee Johnson in this papatipu whenua in our Pa. The kaupapa of the hui is to inform whānau members with legal interests in this two and a half acre block that was originally owned by Kura Pihawai West and succeeded to by her three daughters Mrs Iri Te Amokura Lousich Feary, Mrs Nikau Te Kiwha Tainui and Mrs Roka Te Hakamatua Johnson nee Pihawai West.

Please note that letters were sent to all whānau members with legal interests in Arahura #8, however only one reply (from Rt. Hon Sandra Te Hakamatua Lee Vercoe QSM) was forthcoming. We seek to inform whānau of our plans and invite their input. Following the hui we will be filing papers to make an application for a combined partition order in the centre of the block on Arahura Pa Road, opposite the Tirikatene and Weepu whānau sections.
