Last month this image was published on the back cover of Te Pānui Rūnaka requesting names and information be provided. Unfortunately, to date, we have not heard back from anyone regarding the photograph, however, we would still love to receive feedback from anyone who may have knowledge to add to this or any of the Whakaahua Tīpuna/Whānau images we have published.

Correction
Last month we published responses to the photograph published on the back page of the December Te Pānui Rūnaka. Unfortunately the wrong name was printed for one of the women in the image (incorrectly named as Betty Taiaroa). The correct name is Elizabeth Ann Tauroa (Betty), the older sister of the bride. The bridesmaid seated next to the groom is Hine Pitama. Thank you to Elaine Dell and Sheri-Ann Atuahiva for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologise for this error.
