We are thrilled to welcome Aroha Mules to the new part-time position of Kaitoko Mātauraka. Though employed by Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu as part of the Education team, Aroha is based in her hau kāika at Karitāne and will be working alongside our whānau to encourage tamariki and rakatahi in their learning paths.

She is already being introduced to schools in our community and making contact with whānau about her role. Thanks to Te Rūnanga for giving us the opportunity to try this new approach.
