Kura Louise Kenny, (1858-1938) daughter of the peacemakers, Aramainana (Ngāi Tahu) and Tohi Huruata (Te Āti Awa) and wife of Aylmer Kenny and mother of 13.

The descendants of Kura are invited by her granddaughters, Kura Eliza Joy Gawn, Constance Clare Richards and Dawn Zepherina McMurtrie to join them for a graveside dedication of a plaque in her memory.
The ceremony will be held at 11am on Sunday, 12 April at the Karori Cemetery, plot 453, Wellington.
Directions to the plot will be signposted at the main cemetery entrance.
