Kung fu fighting
After a successful year at Renwick Tae Kwando Club, Jesse Anne Cain, 16, succeeded in passing her black belt first dan in Nelson. As a red belt, black tip, Jesse won three gold medals last year for patterns and fighting.
In October Jesse won gold for patterns and fighting at the Top of the South competition in Blenheim.
